I have been directing a reading of Comedy of Errors for Titan Theatre Company. That will be going up this Monday Feb. 1st at 5:30. This reading is part of Titans three year partnership with the Queens Library system, where they will be bring all of Shakespeare shows to Queens in the forum of free readings. I have had a blast editing this show done to a 70 minute cut. The format of these readings pose a fun challenge as a director, as this will be many audience members first experience with Shakespeare. So I big goal for me with this project has been clarity and has much comedy (both physical and verbal) that we can squeeze in to a reading. It has been especially fun to work with a few of my fellow Hartt school graduates.
